Time for Mom | Self-Esteem, Routines, Mom Guilt, Priorities, Comparison, Devotional, Self-Worth

***Top 2.5% Globally Ranked Podcast***

Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband, so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?

I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl! Wife, SAHM of two girls, Mom Mentor and Jesus follower. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to ditch the mom guilt for peace, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

Are you struggling to find anything to be thankful for this Thanksgiving?
Do you listen to all the gratitude lists from others and just think, "Yeah, I'm not feeling it…"
Are you pasting on a smile, wishing the holidays were over already?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi Beautiful, I’m Cheryl — wife, girl mom, aspiring SAHM, and Jesus follower. I learned the not-so-secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, finding routines that worked, rejecting mom guilt when I failed, and learning what self‑esteem really is. This podcast is for moms who want Biblical encouragement and real‑life devotions. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, become the mom you hoped you’d be, and love yourself the way your babies do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing 7 things that I use to find gratitude and thankfulness in hard times so you can cut a few years off your journey towards choosing gratitude.
Remind yourself of what God has done.
Remind yourself of the goodness of God.
Listen to things that encourage you: The Bible, music, even podcasts.
Gratitude is a choice. It's not effortless.
Pray for God to reveal things you can be thankful for.
Grief must be allowed.
Remember: God is with you. You aren't in this alone. If you feel like it, please reach out to me on the podcast Facebook group or email me through the link in the newsletter. Have you faced discouragement when your plans failed?
Did you do everything right, only to have everything go wrong?
Are you at a loss of how to keep going?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi Beautiful, I’m Cheryl — wife, girl mom, aspiring SAHM, and Jesus follower. In this episode, I’m sharing our complete and utterly failed plans led to a blessing that couldn't have happened without our failure so you can be encouraged when your plans don't work out.
We found ourselves praising God for all the things that didn't work out as planned.
We had our plans, but God's purpose that prevailed.
God's blessings and provision rarely look like I think they should.
Life never happens how I want it to, but that doesn't mean God's hand isn't in the circumstance.
God is always in the thick of life with us.

In this episode, I’m sharing a spiritual lesson from a natural phenomenon we call an inversion so you can see those gray days in a new way.
Some days look gray, feel gray, and are gray, but we can get glimpses of brighter times when we are watching for them.
We learn the most during times that feel broken.
Nothing changes without a force of nature to correct what has been broken.
